A very good copy.
Tall octavo (227 × 160 mm). Contemporary tan calf, spines gilt in compartments, boards ruled in gilt and with blind roll pattern, marbled endpapers and edges. Engraved frontispiece, vignette title, and illustrations throughout. Binding a little rubbed and scuffed and partially tanned, marbled edges faded, spotting to frontispiece and title page and occasionally to contents.
