Octavo. Original full vellum, elaborately gilt to spine and upper board, pictorial endpapers, top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Colour frontispiece, vignette title, and 22 plates by C. E. Brock. Contemporary ownership inscription to front blank. Boards lightly marked, faint tanning to free endpapers, a little light foxing to edges and very occasionally to margins of contents. An excellent copy.
