2 volumes, octavo (213 ×132 mm). Contemporary red pebble-grained morocco, double green morocco labels, elaborate decoration to spines in compartments separated by raised bands, gilt panelled boards, roll to turn-ins, marbled endpapers, gilt edges. Illustrated throughout the text by George Cruikshank, John Leech, and others. Ownership inscription to binder's front blank, some occasional light foxing, an excellent copy.
