A nicely bound set of Spenser.
6 volumes, octavo (151 × 95 mm). Contemporary olive half calf, spines gilt in compartments, red morocco labels, marbled sides and edges. Engraved frontispiece to volume I, vignette title to each volume. Bindings rubbed, spines browned, joints repaired, some gilt renewed at ends of spines, edges faded, front hinge of volume I cracked, endpapers foxed, contents toned and occasionally foxed. A very good set.
