First Collected Edition, one of 80 copies printed on Japanese Vellum. The texts were mostly taken from the last editions to be supervised by the Author. Also included is material that had not been included in the reprints together with some new material.

14 volumes, octavo. Full limp vellum, with gilt lettering to the front covers and spines, and gilt emblematic devices to the front covers, with yapp fore-edges and top edges gilt, dust wrappers present. Printed on Japanese Vellum. All volumes smartly presented in quarter dark green morocco solander boxes, lettered in gilt with a gilt device between each raised band. The set offered here is in very good condition overall. Only dust wrappers are in various degrees of wear from good to very poor, this does not at all detract from this very desirable set.
