Octavo, original plum cloth, title gilt to spine. In the dust jacket. Frontispiece and 11 other plates. Ownership inscription of R. G. Thackray, The Yorkshire Hussars, dated Gedera, March 1940 to the front free endpaper. Edges a little foxed, endpapers slightly browned, else very good in jacket, rubbed and chipped, but largely pictorially and textually complete.
