3 volumes, octavo. Original reddish-brown cloth, titles to spines gilt and to upper board in black, ruling and floral patterns to boards continued in black to spines, green coated endpapers. Housed in a red cloth slipcase. W. H. Smith blind stamp to front free endpaper of volume I, ownership inscription to each half-title. A few spots of wear to the extremities, contents faintly toned. A beautiful set.
