First edition, with plates watermarked 1816–1820. In this copy the Mentz plate is dated October 1819 and the Biebrich plate is dated Septr. 1819. With the list of subscribers.

Quarto (360 × 300 mm). Finely bound in green half morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe of London, raised bands, spine gilt, buckram boards. 24 hand-coloured aquatint plates and large folding map with colour highlights. Light marginal spotting to a few plates and leaves, small repair to the margin on the Biebrich plate, minor offset from plates, else a very good copy.
