Quarto. Original white cloth, titles and pictorial decoration to spine and upper board gilt, pictorial endpapers, top edge gilt. Colour frontispiece and 35 plates tipped-in on grey paper with printed tissue-guards, 34 engraved plates, engravings throughout. Bookseller's ticket to front pastedown. Bindings rubbed and lightly marked with dampstain to edges, spine a little toned, faint marginal toning to contents. A very good copy.
