First Edition thus. A handsome "Gift" edition, retaining the extremely unusual dust jackets.
2 volumes, octavo. Tinted collotype frontispiece to each and 58 other similar plates in all, from photographic images of Florence. Some very light scattered foxing, but otherwise very good indeed in the publisher's white decorative cloth, gilt, in the original paper-lined red linen dust jackets, a little finger-soiled, spines sunning and slightly chipped head and tail, red silk page-markers, top edge gilt, others uncut.
