First edition, first impression, of the first book in the Disney Sketchbook series, somewhat incongruously published in Great Britain: there was no contemporary American edition of this first book in the series.

Large quarto. Original oatmeal cloth, front cover with titles in facsimile manuscript, pictorial endpapers. With the colour pictorial dust jacket. Frontispiece and 11 colour illustrations tipped-in as issued on brown card with captioned tissue guards, reproduction pencil drawings in the text throughout. A remarkable copy in dust jacket.
