2 volumes, octavo (200 × 125 mm). Near contemporary blue half morocco for Hatchards, spines gilt in compartments, blue cloth sides, marbled endpapers, ruling to boards and top edges gilt. Frontispiece and 5 engravings in each volume. Bookplate of William Saunders, dated 1904, to each front pastedown, and bookplate of E. Hubert Litchfield to each free endpaper. Lightly rubbed to extremities, small mark to upper board of volume II, endpapers tanned from turn-ins, contents lightly toned. An excellent set.
