Octavo. Original half red cloth binding with grey paper sides and spine, red cloth spine label lettered in gilt, all edges uncut, title page in red and black. Engraved frontispiece portrait of Bernard Quaritch with facsimile autograph, folding photograph and catalogue of the library of Alfred Crampon, bookplate to front pastedown. Sides a little discoloured, tear at tail to paper spine, partially erased pencil notes to reverse of front free endpaper and in margins of a few text leaves, otherwise interior neat and clean, a very good copy.
