Two volumes, octavo. Original dark and light blue cloth, pictorial decoration to spine and boards gilt. In a custom cloth solander box with chemises. The Adventures has a gift inscription and very light foxing and wear. The Memoirs has an owner's signature and very light foxing and rubbing. A far above average, relatively bright and clean set: especially uncommon with intact hinges.
