Frontispiece portrait and vignette title page, plus 13 engraved plate, one contemporary and one near contemporary ownership inscription to front free endpapers. Some light rubbing at extremities, head of spines chipped, some browning and foxing to text block, one gathering in volume 1 slightly sprung.
