2 volumes, octavo. Original red cloth, title gilt to upper board, and to the spine together with naval buttons and field marshal's baton, top edges gilt, the others uncut. Photogravure portrait frontispiece to each, 8 half-tone plates and 14 folding maps in all A little rubbed overall, spines slightly sunned, mild lean, light toning, scattered foxing, a very good set.
