John Quinn's copy of an extract of Passion, Poison, and Petrification, a one-act play to benefit The Actor's Orphanage, taken from Harry Furniss's Christmas Annual for 1905. Against Shaw's objection bookseller Charles Farmer offered such excerpts, though in a different binding than our example (cf. Laurence A69c). With Quinn's bookplate.
Octavo. Bound in grey boards with printed spine label. Housed in a green quarter morocco slipcase and chemise. Some wear to front joint and spine ends, text toned.
