Refers to the attempt by the balloon Small World at an Atlantic crossing. Setting out from Tenerife on 12 December the vessel covered 1200 nautical miles before being forced to ditch in the sea by a storm. As it stood the voyage set new balloon duration records, the team then completed the voyage to Barbados using the gondola as a boat.
