First published edition, limited to 1500. Follows a mimeographed typescript produced for subscribers only in a run perhaps as small as 50 copies. "This outstanding cruising guide grew from Robert F. Duncan's July 1934 memo, "Notes on Cruising Down East." It has been continued by his son, Roger and his son-in-law" (Toy). A work of reference, this early guide is quite well-represented institutionally, but seldom appears on the market.
Quarto. Original double spiral-bound, blue cloth boards, title in silver panel to the upper board. Frontispiece and 25 other plates and charts. Minor shelf-wear, light marginal toning, but a very god copy indeed.
