Octavo (214 × 136 mm) Publisher's red morocco, title gilt to the spine, flat bands with single gilt rule, single fillet panel to the boards, large FA badge - the Three Lions - gilt to the upper board, all edges gilt, wide turn-ins with single gilt rule. Numerous illustrations to the text, many full-page. Very slight tan-burn from the turn-ins to the free endpapers, light toning, but overall a very handsome copy.
