Rodway was an English botanist who travelled out to Guiana in 1870 becoming librarian and assistant secretary of the Royal Agricultural and Commercial Society, honorary curator of the British Guiana Museum, and semi-official historian of the colony. Uncommon guide published for the Columbian Exposition, Chicago 1893.
Octavo. Original plum cloth, crest of British Guiana gilt to the upper board. Folding map frontispiece and one other map, 25 plates. A little rubbed at the extremities, contemporary gift inscription to the front free endpaper, mild spotting, else very good.
