Octavo. Dark blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine. With the typographical dust jacket. Portrait frontispiece and 9 plates, 7 full-page maps at the rear. Price-clipped jacket a little tanned at the spine and edges of the the turn-ins, but a superb copy of this book.
