A Garden Book for Malaya.H. F. & G. Witherby, London , 1928 Stock Code: 96724
NotesFirst edition, first impression. Publisher's file copy with their bookplate to front pastedown. Not to be confused with the anthropologist of the same name, Kathleen Gough was a British expatriate and fellow of the Royal Horticultural Society who lived a few miles away from Kuala Lumpur in the town of Kajang. Highly uncommon in this condition with the dust jacket.
Octavo. Original green cloth, titles to spine and front board gilt with vignette blocked in dark green. With the dust jacket.
Photographic frontispiece with tissue guard, 15 similar plates.
Very minor bumping to spine, small mark to rear board but an excellent copy in the slightly soiled dust jacket.
