Notes

First edition, a decidedly uncommon handbook of maritime commerce, with just two copies in British and Irish institutional libraries (Senate House and Manchester), OCLC adds two in the Netherlands. Mascall was a prolific publisher of commercial handbooks, this iteration compiled in light of the opening of trade with the Portuguese colonies of South America and the expiry of agreements governing trade with the United States.
