Edward Killoran Brown (1905-51) was a prominant Canadian literature professor who taught at the University of Toronto, and later Cornell and the University of Chicago. He edited the Canadian Forum and wrote over 50 articles and reviews on literature; his "Rhythm in the Novel" is an important study based on Forster's work.
