Presentation copy "con una flor" to a translator of Russian poetry into SpanishFirst edition, first printing, number 409 of 500 numbered copies, this a presentation copy inscribed by Neruda on the first blank to Nina Bulgakova, a Russian translator of Soviet poetry into Spanish, "a Nina, con una flor, Pablo Neruda, 1969 Isla Negra", incorporating a sketch of a flower, in his customary green ink. Bulgakova travelled Central and South America in the 1960s; her Spanish translation of selected Russian and Soviet poetry was printed in Cuba in 1966.
Large octavo. Original wrappers, titles in black and green.
Wrapper edges somewhat rubbed and ruffled with some very small closed tears, mildly soiled but still clean, internally sound and fresh, very good condition indeed.
