Algernon Henry Blackwood (14 March 1869 – 10 December 1951), was an English writer, and one of the most prolific writers of ghost stories in the history of the genre. Novella “The Willows” is one of Blackwood’s best known works, and is often cited as hugely influential to later writers, including horror author H.P. Lovecraft.
