PG Wodehouse

Rare books by P. G. Wodehouse, including first editions, signed, and finely bound copies of the Jeeves novels.

Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse (1881–1975) was a prolific English writer who enjoyed a hugely popular career spanning more than seventy years. His writing includes novels, short stories, plays and poems, alongside song lyrics and a successful side in journalism. Contrary to many writers during his lifetime, Wodehouse avoided writing directly about political upheaval and both World Wars, instead focusing his attention on satirising the upper class English society both pre and post-World War One.
