YEATS, W. B.

Rare books by W. B. Yeats, including first editions and signed first edition copies of The Wanderings of Oisin and Other Poems and the collected Poems.

Widely considered to be one of the foremost English language poets, Yeats (1865 – 1939) remains a staple of both the Irish and British literary cannons. The first Irishman to be awarded the Nobel Prize, he enjoyed a fruitful career as a dramatist before turning to poetry seriously later in his career. His Nobel win was based chiefly on his dramatic works.
