Beiträge zur Währungsfrage in Oesterreich-Ungarn. Abdruck aus den Jahrbüchern für Nationalökonomie und Statistik. Dritte Folge. Bd. 111.Jena, Gustav Fischer, 1892 Stock Code: 98784
NotesFirst separate edition. Responding to requests that Menger's views on the Austo-Hungarian currency question be made accessible to a wider readership, the present work brings together articles previously published in issues of the Jahrbücher für Nationalökonomie und Statistik. Menger writes in his foreword that the work pays particular attention to the idiosyncracies of the Austrian currency; the problems of value associated with the currency reform are discussed in a publication of the same year, Der Übergang zur Goldwährung.
Octavo (242 x 165 mm), pp. [iv], 59. Uncut and largely unopened in original orange printed wrappers.
Ownership stamp of Dr Paul Hammerschlag, an Austrian author on taxation, to front wrapper. Wrappers lightly soiled, rear wrapper a little frayed along fore edge; an excellent copy.
