Originally from Alsace, France moved to Aix-en-Provence in 2006 where she graduated in The Book Trades before working in bookshops on both sides of the Channel and finally settling in the UK in 2009. France studied Business and Celtic at the University of Edinburgh, then spent 2 years at both Bloomsbury Auctions and Christie’s where she developed her specialisation in early (continental) printed books as well as alchemy, occult, medicine, and mythology.
