British Sports and Pastimes.
London: Virtue & Co., 1868 Stock Code: 144391
First edition, collecting Trollope's writings on sports, all originally published in St Paul's Magazine from December 1867 to August 1868, here presented with a preface by Trollope specially written for this edition.
This copy is in the usual green cloth binding; Sadleir notes a rare violet-blue binding variant, possibly a freak, although as Trollope's own copy was so bound he gives it priority.
Description
Octavo. Original green pebble-grain cloth, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, yellow endpapers.
Condition
W. H. Smith blindstamp to front free endpaper, bookseller's ticket to front pastedown. Light separation between a couple of gatherings and very minor wear to tips else a near-fine, bright and clean copy.

Sadleir, Trollope P4.
