NotesPromotional brochure advertising Charlotte Perkins Gilman's next projected US lecture tour, offering single lectures or courses on her many areas of expertise (listed as ethics, economics, education, the woman question, the child, and general subjects), outlining a series of suggested course structures, and concluding with press commentary on her various publications and past speaker events. The suffrage activist and author of The Yellow Wallpaper and Herland (1860-1935) was a highly successful lecturer, an occupation she relied on as a source of income; her talks generated much of her fame and were widely reported on by the media.

Undoubtedly the most distinguished lecture agent of his time, he also represented the likes of Susan B. Anthony, Winston Churchill, Arthur Conan Doyle, Emma Goldman, Mark Twain, and Booker T. Washington.
