Octavo (213 x 135 mm). Contemporary red half calf, green label lettered in gilt to spine, spine gilt to compartments, marbled sides, endpapers and edges.

Illustrations

Illustrated frontispiece with tissue guard, vignette title page, 38 engraved plates.

Condition

Charles Tuckett's binder's stamp to front free endpaper. Spine slightly faded, very slightly marked and rubbed, hinges repaired, slight wear to tips, slightly shaken, top corners of a few pages slightly creased, very occasional light foxing. A very good copy.
