The recipient Michael Hogarth worked with Jerry Solomon Enterprises, a picture framing business in Los Angeles. It was here in 1965 that Jerry Solomon first began framing for David Hockney and to this day, the company handles all Hockney's framing. Published to coincide with an exhibition at the Musée Picasso, 10 February - 3 May, 1999. Together with a preview invitation for 8 February addressed to Michael Hogarth for the exhibition, and another preview invitation for 9 February for David Hockney Photographies 1968-1997 exhibition at the Maison Européene de la Photographie.
