A collector of jewellery and precious stones, he owned 30 sets of diamond jewellery-one for each day of the month. He was also known for his enormous appetite, being described by one restauranteur as "the best 25 customers I ever had". A very attractive copy, and uncommon with both the dust jacket and the faux diamond remaining in the cover.
