The collection was first published in 1895 by John Hogg,and reissued in 1912. This Pitman edition expands the recipes for a contemporary audience, including new temperance drinks. This edition is uncommon, with three copies traced institutionally worldwide.

Cloth a little soiled, extremities, slightly rubbed, a couple of scuffs to bottom edge of book block, contents clean and bright; a very good copy.
