First Shakespeare Head Press edition, one of 500 copies only, scarce deluxe issue bound in vellum, of Shelley's love poem to the "poor captive bird" Teresa "Emilia" Viviani, a beautiful Italian countess "imprisoned" in St Anna convent while her father sought a suitable husband for her. Epipsychidion was first published a century earlier in 1821.
