The four poems which make up Four Quartets ("Burnt Norton", "East Coker", "The Dry Salvages" and "Little Gidding") were published separately between 1940 and 1941; this is a later printing of the first collected edition, which was published in the US in 1943.
Octavo. Finely bound by the Chelsea Bindery in black morocco, titles to spine gilt, raised bands, twin rule to turn-ins gilt, black and white patterned paper, gilt edges.
