A rare offprint, Library Hub records only one copy in British and Irish institutional libraries (Oxford); WorldCat adds 2 locations at University of California. David Garnett's copy, inscribed at the head of page 96: "David Garnett, May 1919". An appealing Bloomsbury Group association copy, Garnett later included Waley in Great Friends: Portraits of Seventeen Writers (1979). In his brief introduction, Waley notes: "In 170 Chinese Poems Constable, 1918 I have given an account of Po Chu-i's life and translations of over sixty of his poems. Here are twenty-two further poems, of which all but one are now translated for the first time".
