First edition, published as notebooks 50-51, a double number of the fourth series of Prezzolini's Quaderni de "La Voce", a collection of articles written by Einaudi that had mostly appeared in the newspaper Il Corriere. More political than economic, the various articles deal with education, Great-Britain, Woodrow Wilson, the Treaty of Versailles, a European Federation versus a League of Nations, and problems in post-war Italy.
