A fine copy of this work, a classic of the art déco style, by French writer and orientalist Franz Toussaint, and illustrated by Janine Aghion (1894-1982), who worked with art déco forerunner Paul Poiret. Several of Aghion's striking costume designs are held at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
