In Quest of the Holy Graal.
An introduction to the study of the legend.London, J. M. Dent and Co., 1898 Stock Code: 125244
NotesFirst edition, in a handsome binding. Sebastian Evans (1830-1909) was a political activist, artist, poet and translator from medieval French, Latin, Greek and Italian. He dedicates the present work, an original study on the holy grail legend, "to my fellow-workers, English and foreign, in the field of the Graal".

Contemporary gift inscription to title page, a couple of later neat ownership signatures to front free endpaper. Spine lightly faded, light rubbing to extremities. A near-fine copy.
