First edition, first impression. The author's follow-up to her first book of memoirs, Laughing Torso. Hamnett (1890-1956) was an English artist and bohemian who lived in Paris and London, working as an art model and having affairs with writers and artists including Gaudier-Brzeska, Modigliani, Roger Fry, Pablo Picasso, and Jean Cocteau.
