Notes

First edition, first printing. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, "For indecipherable and Pat Dale, whose tracks are all about the shack at Goose Bay, Frank B. Linderman, 1936". Writer and politician Frank Bird Linderman (1869-1938) collected the stories in this volume from the Native American tribe of the Kootenai, or, "Flat-bow-people". Scarce in the dust jacket and even scarcer inscribed.
