Signed by Robert Indiana and addressed in his hand to a Walter Reisser in Stuttgart. Indiana's iconic work began in 1964 with a painting entitled Love is God. The original Love sculpture was carved from a 30.5 cm block of solid aluminium and has since become various sized sculptures, paintings, tapestries, prints, drawings and holograms which can be found in many public and private collections.
