NotesFirst edition, just three copies on OCLC - Harvard, University of Portland, Naval War College, Rhode Island. Consists of sheets of Mahan's chapter from Clowes' monumental history of the British Navy, bound up with a US-printed title page. A revised edition was published by Little, Brown in 1913, but the present issue was not recorded by Mahan's bibliographers, no copies on COPAC.
