Signed by Mies van der Rohe, together with the signatures of 80 other architects who were associated with himFirst edition, first printing, inscribed by the author and signed by Mies van der Rohe on the title page, dated September 1960, and signed by over 80 other architects on the front free endpaper who were associated with Mies, either working for him, taught by him, or were associated with him in a professional capacity. Though the exact date of the ceremonial signing is unknown, in 1960 Mies was awarded the AIA Gold Medal - the highest award given by the American Association of Architects - and it is likely connected to this occasion.
