Mr Watkins got drunk and had to be carried home.
A party piece by Jeff Nuttall from an idea by William Burroughs.[Finchley: Writers' Forum,] 1964 Stock Code: 94454
First edition, first impression, one of approximately 50 copies hand-printed by the author. Jeff Nuttall performed his cut-up piece at a party at his home in north London on 1 February 1964, in front of an audience which included concrete poet Bob Cobbing and painter Islwyn Watkins, after whom the work takes its title. A bright copy of this scarce and fragile publication.
Octavo (205 x 165 mm). Pictorial paper wrappers, rear wrapper slightly shorter, wire-stitched mimeographed typescript printed on light blue and yellow paper on one side only.
Wrappers very faintly rubbed, small nick to centre of backstrip. An excellent copy.
