This copy is attractively bound in an art deco style by notable French binder Jeanne P. Vinit. André Mary (1879-1962) was a French poet who specialised in reviving medieval poetic forms.
Narrow octavo (184 x 100 mm). Contemporary art deco binding signed by Jeanne P. Vinit, full tan morocco, titles blocked vertically to spine in gilt, black and red inlaid morocco frames across both covers, three-sided triple rule frame to covers in gilt, marbled endpapers, red, black, and tan inlaid turn-ins ruled in gilt, top edge gilt, others untrimmed, original paper dust jacket bound in at end. Housed in a marbled paper covered slipcase.
